Alt versions of comms can range from things such as changes in color, Backgrounds, Characters (PLEASE NOTE:: I do not charge a fee for extra characters , IF it's 4 or less), ETC.!

Depending on what is asked, alt/extra versions of an image can be completely free or up to $10 extra.
